Weekly Synchronous Online Meeting Assignment Instructions
Weekly Synchronous Online Meeting are scheduled weekly during each DNP Practicum Course (NURS 840-844). The purpose of the Weekly Synchronous Online Meeting is to afford students the opportunity to share practicum; discuss, analyze, and provide examples of practicum application of assigned practicum readings/assignments; and to provide direct faculty communication and support throughout the DNP Practicum Courses. (MLO 1, 2, 3, 4)
Weekly Synchronous Online Meeting are required and graded. Students will prepare a 3-5 slide PowerPoint presentation including title slide and references to lead a short weekly discussion according to each DNP Practicum Module/Week requirements. Each student will be prepared to discuss the Module/Week Discussion. These weekly meetings will count 1 hour toward practicum hours and should be documented through In-Place.
